What is a Showreel?
The two most important assets an actor must have are a strong head shot and a professional showreel. A showreel is a 2-3 minute compilation of your work, designed to showcase your talent to casting directors, agents, and filmmakers.
If you haven’t yet worked on a production, creating a showreel can be challenging. That’s where showreel companies come in—they shoot custom scenes that can be edited into your reel.
A common mistake many actors make, especially early in their careers, is shooting scenes where they play action heroes or gangsters—roles they may not realistically be cast for yet. This can actually hinder your chances, as casting directors won’t get a true sense of who you are.
Your showreel should reflect you—your unique selling point (USP), your casting type, and your talent.

Scene Delivery

Feedback and Revisions
Once you’ve received the scene, you can provide feedback and request any rewrites or adjustments to ensure it’s perfect for you
